Videos in Stereo full screen on K750i
This works for Sony Ericsson K750i (play with settings in step 5 to get it to work for other phones).
Get DVD decrypter from http://www.dvddecrypter.com
Get 3gp converter from http://www.nurs.or.jp/~calcium/3gpp/
1. Install DVD decrypter
2. Install 3GP converter - its a package of 4 or 5 different sets of codecs and programs; install *everything*
3. Open your normal DVD player, play the film and note the chapters / songs you want.
4. Now run DVD decrypter: Go to "Mode" at the top and click "IFO I"
Go to "input" you see "VTS" and "PGC" directories of the DVD -click on the chapters you want
Go to "stream processing" and click "enable" box, then select the video stream / sound + languages
you want (unclick all languages and subtitles not wanted - it will save space)
Click the "DVD to hard drive" picture - this extracts your selection as ".VOB files" onto your hard drive (can take a few minutes)
5. Click the setup green icon for 3GP - set to "English" and select "3GPP+AAC General Setting with XviD encoder"
another box then comes up, click the drop down arrow to get "QCIF Normal Quality 15fps stereo"
(You can try "High Quality", picture is a bit better *but* stutters every 5 seconds (buffering in K750i)
6. Now drag and drop the .VOB file(s) into the converter -this creates .3gp files (takes time)
7. Lastly rename to the title you want before uploading it to the *video directory* of your memory card
You can get about 8 song videos or 20 minute movie on a 64MB card or 3 DVDs on a 512MB card.
Select the video on the phone, select Equaliser for sound balance ("voice" or "megabass" etc.), play,
then switch to full screen mode under "more".
