First of all respect for all this work around the wallpapers! I have a qestion, if can someone send me this default layer where are the battery and signal sings and menu, shortcut bar, because I have a lot of funny and interesting wallpapers and I would like to send to you!

Hy, for all there who using Nokia 6230 I have found a forum conversation about the new SW 5.24, some forum members did flash it and they have wroten some details:
So, today i've got 5.24 firmware installed. I have used older firmware only for several days, but even now I can see some very good changes:
1. You can see Caller ID with any wallpaper - when someone calls you, the wallpaper becomes much much lighter, but it stays there. I think this soluton by Nokia is better than changing color of fonts, as some of members requested. It is really cool. It is really better and smartder than in older 40series nokias.
2. Icon Services is now called "Web"
3. new 'Instant messages' in the 'messages' menu
4. After you take a picture, main NAVI button says 'Send' but not 'Delete'
5. Music player playlist automaticaly sees all the mp3 from mmc, no matter in which folder where they are.
6. When the phone asks you to choose the folder (e.g. when you define where your photos will be stored from camera options menu), main NAVi button is 'SET' instead of 'Open', if you want to open folder (go deeper) have to choose Options->Open folder
Sorry, I'm using 6230 only for 2 days. After 1st day I managed to squeze it accidently - the phone has lost it's internal memory (Free - 0kb, used - 0kb, i changed the main microprocessor at the service center and when I got it, it had 5.24 firmware on it. (25-11-04)
I hope that this SW will be as fast as posible on my 6230!

Hy, I'm new here and I would like to tell you that this forum is excellent, I come from Slovenia, we have some mobile forums, but there aren't such interesting themes!
I have been learning german for 12 years so I understand all, but I can't write in german, because I haven't the right keyboard with your special signs.
I have for about 3 days my new Nokia 6230 I have read a lot about the battery training and I have recharge first time for about 16 hours, I started using the phone yesterday on 12 o'clokck and today at 16 o'clock was the battery emtpy? Now I will recharge again for about 14 houres and then I would see what will be.
I can tell you that my battery in made in Hungarya and one of my friends hase the same phone with the battery made in China!
What should I do, bring it back or what?
