Hi,
habe gerade auf der englischen Forum-Seite von BenQ unter OffTopic -> VARIANTS of firmwares EXPLAINED folgenden Beitrag eines Users entdeckt:
When you try to download the firmware update for your phone you will be probably asked to choose the correct PRODUCT VERSION of your phone (for example: S65, S6C, S6V).
CHOOSING THE RIGHT PRODUCT VERSION OF YOUR PHONE IS VERY IMPORTANT!
After you have chosen the correct product version you will be offered to choose the VARIANT...
HERE IS THE DETAILED EXPLANATION ON THE VARIANTS:
Generally speaking for the specific variants there are different versions of the firmware. But the fact is that the variants are basically equal and any version of firmware is suitable for any variant. The only differences are in the language packs that are installed with each variant.
So basically you should choose the variant with the latest fw version, that includes the language pack that suits your needs...
The following Language Packs are available
For the x65/x70 Series [ including A(X)75, C(X)75, M(E)75 ]:
lg1 (100=x1yy) - English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Catalan, Brazilian Portuguese, Greek, Turkish
lg2 (200=x2yy) - English, German, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, Dutch, French
lg3 (300=x3yy) - English, Polish, Russian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Estonia, Ukraine
lg4 (400=x4yy) - English, German, Hungarian, Czech, Slovakian, Croatian, Dutch, Polish, Serbian, Slovene
lg5 (500=x5yy) - English, French, German, Arabic, Hebrew, Russian, Bulgarian, Romanian
lg6 (600=x6yy) - English, Arabic, French, Tagalog, Urdu, Farsi, Malayalam, Hindi
lg7 (700=x7yy) - English, Thai, Malaysian, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Malayalam, Hindi
lg8 (800=x8yy) - English2, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese
lg92 (920=x92y) - Russian, English, German, French, Italian, Spanish
lg95 (950=x95y) - US English, Mexican Spanish, Canadian French, Brazilian Portuguese
...
...
x= any letter
y=any number
