TomTom Navigator 2 Wireless GPS will be available in July 2003 from leading retailers throughout the Benelux and is compatible with most popular Pocket PCs.
The Wireless GPS receiver will also be available as a standalone product and is compatible with any Bluetooth-enabled device, which then can be used in combination with GPS enabled software. Compatible devices include Sony Ericsson P800, Nokia 7650 and 3650, Sony Vaio also any Bluetooth-enabled Pocket PC or notebook.
TomTom Navigator 2 comprises navigation software, the TomTom Wireless GPS receiver and your choice of one of the following European maps:
Great Britain;
France;
Italy;
Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxemburg;
Germany, Austria and Switzerland;
Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland;
Spain and Portugal.
Along with the product for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, you will receive the Varta Hotel and Restaurant Guide, the celebrated and indispensable guide to the German-speaking regions of Europe.
TomTom Navigator 2 is also available without a GPS receiver. It supports any NMEA 0183 or Sirf compatible GPS Receiver connected to your Pocket PC.
TomTom Navigator 2 Maps of Western Europe: all the maps of 15 European countries are now also available in one 8 CDROM add-on package at a very smart price. Please note: this product requires you to have TomTom Navigator software version 2.
