Aber wer das nicht weiß, hat echt Pech.

Die Sache hat einen Wettbewerbs-Hintergrund.

Der gemeine User könnte die Meinung haben, dass ein zusätzliches AntiVirus Produkt "überflüssig" wäre und das verhagelt Kaspersky & Co. das Geschäft gewaltig.

Dass Microsoft so schnell beidreht dürfte einen Hintergrund haben. Erinnere Dich, dass früher der Internet Explorer "tief" im System verwurzelt wurde und die EU durchgedrückt hat, dass eine Auswahl Software auf andere Internet-Browser hinweist, was dann Firefox zu viel Popularität verholfen hat, Chrome ist sehr modern, Opera eher in Vergessenheit geraten etc.

Ich habe mich schon früh mit Windows 10 beschäftigt und auch mit AntiVirus Software unter Windows XP ... 10

Solange auf dem Computer kein extra Antivirus Programm drauf ist, ist Defender schon mal eine gute Lösung für Profis, die wissen, was sie tun.

Ergänzen kann man das mit mit dem kostenlosen ADW-Cleaner (http://www.malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner) oder dem kostenlosen Malwarebytes. (Die Kaufversion bringt IMHO nix)

Wenn es unbedingt kostenlos sein muss, dann könnte http://www.avast.de eine Lösung sein.

Brandneu ist Kaspersky Free Antivirus (kostenlos, derzeit nur in englisch)

Eine Katastrophe ist Avira, damit habe ich schlimme Dinge erlebt, ich würde DRINGEND davon abraten. (Kaufversion, die Viren durchläßt... - Rechner anschließend total verwanzt

Gut finde ich ESET, gibt's aber nur als Kaufversion. (1 Monat gratis testen)

Ja, mit Avira hast du recht.
der Virenschutz dort war mal ganz ok, aber mittlerweile ist es echt schlecht geworden.
Avast ist hingegen im Vergleich zu noch vor Jahre viel besser, ja sogar komfortabel geworden.

Dabei muss das eigentlich gar nicht sein.
Das lässt sich alles in den Einstellungen unter "Datenschutz" ein- bzw. ausstellen.

Windows 10 Versionen wohin das Auge reicht...

MS hat eine neue Windows 10 Version vorgestellt:
Windows 10 Pro for Workstations in eine Reihe von unterschiedlichen Windows 10-Editionen ein.
womit die ganze Sache nicht gerade übersichtlicher wird.

Und diese Versionen gab es bis jetzt auch schon:
Windows 10 Mobile, Windows 10 Pro, Windows 10 Enterprise, Windows 10 Education und Windows 10 Mobile Enterprise. Außerdem wurde im Mai Windows 10 S vorgestellt, das wie Windows 10 Education vorrangig für den Bildungsbereich gedacht ist, allerdings im Grunde eine abgespeckte Variante von Windows 10 Pro ist und mit Googles Chrome OS konkurrieren soll. Daneben gibt es noch Microsofts Abo-Dienste in Form von Windows 10 Enterprise E3 und E5.

•Problem behoben, dass Asphalt 8 keine Eingaben akzeptiert hat.
•Problem mit Slideshows beim Aufwecken des PCs aus dem Energiesparmodus wurde behoben.
•Probleme mit der DPI-Skalierung wurden behoben.
•Probleme in XAML wurden behoben, welche verursachten, dass Textanimationen leicht verschwommen aussahen.
•Fortschrittsleisten in Microsoft Edge sollten korrekt angezeigt werden.
•Unerwartete Änderungen der Maussensibilität wurden korrigiert.
•Probleme mit zu dicker Taskleiste nach dem Reboot eines PCs mit angeschlossenem externen Monitor wurden behoben.

•We fixed an issue in Microsoft Edge where pasting an image to Imgur.com from your clipboard wouldn’t work.
•We fixed an issue where the Emoji Panel’s tooltips could become mixed up.
•We fixed an issue from recent flights resulting in precision touchpads potentially dropping gestures after coming out of sleep.
•We fixed an issue where the battery flyout might incorrectly show “PC not charging” while the device was changing in recent builds.
•We fixed an issue where fonts using shortcuts would become unusable and disappear from the Fonts folder.
•We fixed an issue resulting in multiple apps crashing in the previous flight if you tried to log into the app using Facebook.

Es ist mal wieder krass, wie viele Updates MS aktuell ausrollt.
Zwar sind die Changelogangaben in Englisch, aber dennoch im jeweiligen Land in der jeweiligen Sprache verfügbar.

•We fixed an issue resulting in not being able to tab into an open PDF in Microsoft Edge after interacting with the any of the Microsoft Edge window elements using mouse.
•We fixed an issue where the Windows Defender Security Center app icon was missing in taskbar when the app was open, as well in Start’s all apps list. You will also notice that the icon is now un-plated in the taskbar.
•We’ve made some adjustments to address an issue resulting in sudden and brief CPU spikes where you couldn’t move your mouse. If you’ve encountered this, please try it in this new build and let us know if your experience has improved.
•We fixed an issue where minimized app windows on mixed-DPI monitor setups might end up drawing offscreen after your PC resumed from sleep.
•We fixed an issue where if you changed your display language preference to something other than the machine’s default then any app which did not take an update while also getting the updated language resource package from the Store would end up continuing to display its tile in Start in that default language rather than the new language displayed within the app and other system UI.
