Note: This update is only applicable to ROM version is less than 1.66.XXX.X.

Follow the instructions below to download and install the update on your device:

1. Make sure you have Microsoft ActiveSync® installed on your Windows XP PC or Windows Mobile Device Center on your Windows Vista® PC. You can find Microsoft ActiveSync from this link or Windows Mobile Device Center from this link.
2. Connect and synchronize your device with your PC via Microsoft ActiveSync® or Windows Mobile Device Center using the USB cable.
3. To download this update select the update below and the location closest to you then click Download.
4. Copy the update, which is an .exe file, to your device. To install the update, tap the .exe file and follow the on-screen instructions.

Note: If you perform a device hard reset, you will need to reinstall the update after the hard reset.

Persönlicher Kommentar: Vielleicht klappts ja jetzt endlich im 3. Versuch, ich finds langsam echt peinlich von HTC. Aber mich wundert vor allem, dass die den Hotfix jetzt nochmal neu veröffentlichen, obwohl der im ROM 1.66 vorhanden ist. Die bräuchten doch nur endlich mal auch das deutsche ROM 1.66 veröffentlichen (und die Netzbetreiber sowieso). So ziemlich alle anderen Sprachversionen sind schon seit Tagen verfügbar.

Das darf doch wohl nicht wahr sein! Auch mit den ganz neuen Patch des 3. Versuchs ist gleich beim 5. getippten Wort der Fehler wieder da, dass der Cursor wegspringt, die vorangegangene SMS selektiert wird und die Eingaben im Nirvana landen.
Ich fass es nicht!

Der Fehler mag zwar dir nicht bekannt sein, wird aber in anderen Foren des öfteren diskutiert. Es ist ja nicht so, dass alle Fehler bei jedem auftreten. Z.B. der Fehler, dass SMS im Postausgang liegen bleiben (trotz GSM- statt GPRS-Versandart), tritt auch nur bei wenigen auf. Dennoch ist er existent.

Das habe ich eigentlich, denn beim ersten Installieren hatte sich der Installer scheinbar festgefressen. Nach einer halben Stunde Untätigkeit habe ich einen Softreset gemacht und ihn neu ausgeführt. Dann lief das Setup durch, berichtete von Erfolg und startete das Gerät neu. Aber ich machs dann einfach nochmal...

Es wird leider immer besser bzw. eher schlechter:
Gerade bekomme ich SMS von meiner o2 Mailbox wegen eingegangenem Anruf. Drücke ich drauf, zeigt mir Sense nur eine leere Nachricht an. Kann also auch nicht mehr auf die Nummer drücken dass die Mailbox direkt angerufen wird. Als markiert gelesen wird sie auch nicht mehr, auch nicht wenn ich auf "Alle Nachrichten" übers Menü und dann auf die SMS gehe. Zumindest sieht man dort den Inhalt. Eine Test-SMS wurde jedoch normal behandelt, verstehe das wer will.
