Hallo Leute.
Ich habe mir einen Router zugelegt in Verbindung mit einer UMTS Flat im Vodafone Netz.
Jetzt habe ich folgendes Problem. Da sich meine Kaserne in einem Randgebiet befindet ist der Empfang hier ziehmlich schlecht. Ich habe andauernd Verbindungsabbrüche. Ich war bis jetzt immer mit dem Router von einem Kammeraden verbunden. Ein Linksys mit PCMCIA Karte. Bei seinem Router ist es so das sich der Router nicht trennt wenn mal keine Daten ankommen sondern einfach wartet bis wieder etwas kommt. Genauso hab ich mir das auch bei mir gedacht. Aber leider bricht der Router sofort die Verbindung ab wenn mal keine Daten ankommen. Im Handbuch des Routers sind PPP Einstellungen beschrieben mit "Idle Timeout" "Echo Timeout" und "Echo Count" Ich denke das sind die Einstellung die wichtig währen. Das Problem ist aber das ich diese Einstellungen nicht habe, d.h. die werden gar nicht angezeigt.
Ich hoffe ihr könnt mir irgendwie helfen. Ich kopier mal die Logdaten die der Router angibt. Danke im Vorraus.
