New Polyphonic Ringtone site -- free--

On http://www.dewin.org/mobile/ you can find polypphonic ringtones. Right now we have 3 formats: .mmf (SMAF) .mld (I-melody) and .mid (MIDI) these tones are supported by some Vodafone Live and I-mode handsets also Samsung and others may be supported. Soon we'll have over 3000 tones for free! Right now we are inserting them in our database.

Ringtones can only be downloaded with you mobile phone!

If you want to create your own ringtones not only check out PSMplayer but also this new one from Yamaha, it can even mix midi and wav although it's kinda hard to work with. Find it on: http://smaf-yamaha.com/tools/downloads.html and look for ATS-MA3-SMAF that's the best program!

The site is now also available as a WAP site for people without I-mode or Vodafone Live!

You can upload your own ringtones to our site and then download them via WAP or I-mode. Soon we'll have some tutorials on how to create the best tones!

I have not tested if the midi tones work on your nokia but they are standard midi-0 format if that's of any help?

Darksite22, thanks for your comment. I'm afraid I can't test with every phone but I'll try to make it compatible. I use a special script I wrote in ASP that sends the right headers to the phone. But some phones like NECs do not supply me with headers which tones they support but the GD87 does...
I believe the midi files should work for the GD87 I havent had any other complaints about that, but i'll look into it.
