Calendar is King
Access your calendar, reach family and friends and scribble and save your notes on your phone. With the G700, you can jot down a note on the screen with a stylus, just as you would with a pen on paper, and save it on your phone’s desktop to remind you - just as you’d stick a note on the fridge. You can even draw a map to the local shop or doodle personal notes to send them to your loved ones! Holding everything that is important to you wherever you go, the G700 is the most natural way to manage life. There’s no longer a need to have your home calendar separate from work – it works with you, the way you do.

Intuitively simple
With the G700 you can enjoy touchscreen text input, Web surfing, calendar and phone navigation. Want to contact someone at home? Just touch the relevant name in your phonebook and all of the various contact options will appear onscreen. It’s instantly intuitive messaging. You can even browse your photo album using the tip of your finger. The G700 also has dedicated keys for messaging, notes and a key lock on the side of the phone. All it takes is one press to unlock.

Gern geschehen. War nen bisschen Arbeit.

Inseressant finde ich die seitlichen Sensoren neben dem Display, die dazu dienen durch das Menü und über die Seiten zu scrollen.

Vermutlich weil das G900 einfach mehr zu bieten hat bei selber Bauform.

- Keylock key
Device is equipped with a dedicated keylock key.

- Torch always at hand
When this feature is switched on the camera LED is lit, and it is never no more than two presses away. Without having to activate the camera the phone has turned into a torch.

- Messaging hardware key
This hardware key offers a shortcut to the Messaging function. It is appealing, practical and easy to use, and it is a perfect solution for an in-touch-organizer, who can select between email, push email, Web mail, and instant messaging.

- Note-it hardware key This hardware key offers a shortcut to the new and innovative Note-it function. When pressing the key, the screen turns into a yellow sticker, on which a note can be written either using the stylus or the keypad.

- Instant Messaging (IM)
An integrated Instant Messaging application is available to Operators and their community partners.

- Pictures and video blogging
Pictures and video blogging are integrated features, meaning that they are directly connected to the camera application and the video camera application respectively.

- Simplified multitasking
When Task manager is accessed, the screen from which the application is launched does not disappear. It will still be visible as a background screen in G700, while the list of recent applications pop-ups from the bottom of the screen. This has proven to be a more effective and user-friendly way of presenting the Task manager feature for the user.

- Music Player
The Music player in G700 is similar to the Walkman® player used in Sony Ericsson W960, but it has been further-developed.
