S55 SMTK - realer Vergeich möglich?

...nachdem schon bei HK keiner eine Antwort wußte, dann vielleicht hier.....

Wie bestimmt schon jeder gekneisselt hat, gibt es bereit das Siemens Mobile Toolkit Developer Package zum Download bei Siemens (nach Registration - eh klar). Was ich mich frage, ist, inwieweit man den Emulator (V04) mit einem realen S55 vergleichen kann. Denn das, was mir aufgefallen ist, ist jener Umstand, daß bei der Kapazität 16 MB !!! angezeigt werden. Inwieweit simmt das mit der Realiät überein (hat schon jemand ein Prerelease-Handy ???). Und was mich noch irgendwie interessieren würde, ist, wie man Töne mit dem Emulator hörbar machen kann....bei mir ist der Emu mucksmäuschenstill....zumindest das mit der SIM funktioniert (F9)...

...bei uns in A dauert alles ein bissi länger...ergo...es gibt kein S55...und somit auch nix zum Testen...

.und das mit den Readme´s: ich konnte diesbezüglich leider nix finden...nur der Hinweis (FAQ):

How precisely does the emulator emulate the phone?
There should be no difference between the emulator and the real device. They are both created from the same sources. But the SL45i emulator on the PC is slightly faster than the real device.

bzw:

API support for polyphonic sounds. Check com.siemens.mp.media package. Supported formats for sound files are MIDI-0, MIDI-1, and SMAF (Yamaha sound format). Note: SMAF and MIDI-1 are currently not supported by SMTK due to the limitation of Win 32 API. There will be additional documentation available for this issue soon.
